A man has been charged with murder after police discovered the body of a woman and two children inside a Sydney suburban home on Monday night.
Police were called to a Campbelltown home on Raymond Avenue on Monday, just before 8pm, after receiving a triple-0 call from the residence.
On arrival, they located the bodies of a 46-year-old woman and two boys aged 12 and four. Police said the bodies were located in separate rooms.
Police arrested the 47-year-old man at the scene, which was described as “particularly violent”.
It is understood that the man called triple-0 from the home.
On Tuesday morning, NSW Police charged the man with three counts of murder (DV).
“Whilst I can’t give you specific information in regards to how they passed, what I can tell you is all three persons sustained significant injuries and it was a particularly violent crime scene,” Acting Superintendent Michael Moroney said on Monday night.

“Whilst we’ve confirmed (the man’s) identity, the link to the three people inside has not been established at this stage,” he said.
“However, we believe they are all known to each other.”
The 47-year-old man is set to appear before the Campbelltown Local Court on Tuesday.
“Police have located a number of items inside the premises which would be of interest in regards to the injuries sustained by those people,” he added.
“Until that crime scene is processed, I can’t confirm the exact cause of deaths of those people at this time.”
