The figures come as the state enters its third day of new freedoms after NSW hit the magic 80 per cent double dose milestone over the weekend.

The state is on track to have 90 per cent of its eligible population fully vaccinated by the end of the month.

Border restrictions with Victoria also eased on Wednesday.

NSW residents wanting to enter the southern state no longer need to quarantine for two weeks if they are fully vaccinated.
