Wickepin: Police call for information after nine-year-old boy killed in tragic crash on Williams-Kondinin Road

A nine-year-old boy has been killed in a horror crash near Wickepin.

About 2.45pm on Wednesday, a white Toyota Kluger was heading west along the Williams-Kondinin Road when it veered onto the other side of the road and struck a tree.

The crash happened about four kilometres out of Wickepin.

A nine-year-old boy, who was a passenger in the vehicle, died at the scene.

The 65-year-old female driver from Nungarin was taken to Fiona Stanley Hospital in Perth with serious injuries.

Major crash investigators would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the Toyota Kluger travelling in the area before the crash.
