Police are urgently searching for a 12-year-old girl who has not been seen for three days.

Ava-Grace Holdsworth, who also goes by the name Ash, vanished from her family home on Teneriffe Place in Mirrabooka about 8pm on Wednesday.

The school girl has now been missing for more than 60 hours, prompting police to issue a public plea for help to track her down.

Ava-Grace is described as being about 145cm tall with a medium build.

She is likely to be easily identified by her distinctive hair, which is styled in a green and blue bob.

The disappearance has sparked serious welfare concerns among local police and her family, who have been left waiting for news of her whereabouts.

Anyone who has any information that could lead to her being found is urged to call police immediately on 131 444.
