Most of our members joined in with the excellent Seniors’ Week activities available during the second week of November.

The usual meeting lunch had to be cancelled as the QE2 Centre was busy with the many activities on offer. The darts group had an early Christmas celebration on November 1 at Mia’s Restaurant.

Everyone had an enjoyable time which ended with cutting an iced fruit cake supplied by Betty Hosken, who is the darts representative on the committee.

Thanks to Betty for all her support on the committee over a long period of time. Next year she will take a well-earned break.

The Christmas celebration for Seniors Action Group members will be held on Tuesday, December 14 at the QE2 Centre.

You can expect a delicious two-course dinner and sweets. Musical entertainment will also be provided, with lots of raffles and prizes.

See Di Keighran for a ticket, $30 for members, and $35 for non-members.
