Warren Blackwood under-15s represent at T20 comp

The Warren Blackwood U15Bs have done their area proud after putting up great scores at the T20 cricket carnival in Bunbury over the weekend.

Although winless across the four matches, the Warren Blackwood team made sure every match was contested right up until the end.

The first game for the young cricketers was against the Peel Maroon side at Forrest Park where Peel managed to just win by 21 runs.

Warren Blackwood opened the batting for the match with the highest run tally going to Rory Miller with 24 runs after facing 32 bowls.

The next tie for Warren Blackwood came against the Peel Blue where they again gave fierce competition and lost by only 39 runs.

Tharun Prithri Raj, who opened the batting for Warren Blackwood, scored the most runs for his side with 22 runs made after facing 23 bowls.

After having a bye Warren Blackwood were back in action against Bunbury where they opened the batting and put up an impressive score of 9/102.

Bunbury were able to eventually wear down the lower South West and emerge victorious with an overall score of 6/165.

The last match of the competition was against Albany where although they tried their hardest, the Great Southern team won by five wickets.
