Three Lower South West young guns have been selected to play for the Regional Districts side at this years 2026 CBH Colts Championships.
The team is an outfit made up of players from associations who do not send their own side to the championships.
Deanmill’s Kai McGinty, Tiger’s Connor Brown, and Boyup Brooks Will Narducci have all been named in the 26-man squad competing in division one.
McGinty was a member of last year’s team that went all the way in division two, giving the side a promotion into the coveted division one competition.
The side is made up of six different leagues across the State: Upper Great Southern, Goldfields, Esperance, Ongerup, Eastern Districts and LSWFL.
Regional Districts will come up against Great Northern, Peel and close rivals South West in their pool stage games at Scotch College on Thursday before the colts third-place play-offs and grand finals are held at the same ground on Friday.
McGinty has been impactful all season for the Hawks, and enjoyed a dominant showing at the Great Southern Colts Carnival last month.
Narducci has been leading the way for the struggling Boyup Brook, kicking a goal in every game his played this season. He has kicked 24 majors in his seven games and sits eighth on the competition’s leaderboard.
Brown has been a key player in the Tigers’ resurgence this season with six goals from seven games.
Every match will be live-streamed via the Country Football WA YouTube channel.
