Photographers have the chance to win prizes and to feature in the Boyup Brook Community Resource Centre’s 2021 calendar, as part of its annual What’s Your Angle? photography competition.

Entries are now open for the competition’s five categories: landscapes; agriculture; flora; animals; and community spirit.

There will be a first, second and third prize for each category, as well as a people’s choice and overall winners’ prizes for the whole competition.

Each category will also have an under-18s first and second prize.

Boyup Brook CRC programs officer Chantay Della Vedova encouraged entrants to get involved in the competition.

“What’s Your Angle?is an amateur photography competition so it’s a great starting point if you are new to photography or haven’t entered a competition before,” she said.

“I think it is especially exciting this year given how many events have had to be cancelled or postponed. It’s good to be able to give the community something to participate in and look forward to.”

Entries will be displayed at an exhibition at the CRC, with winners to be announced on October 10, to coincide with the Bloomin Wild Weekend in Boyup Brook.

Competition entries close on September 30.
