The Bridgetown Hospital Auxiliary’s Christmas carols will return to their traditional home at the Bridgetown Hospital grounds this year.

Bridgetown’s Jubilee Singers will provide the carols for the occasion and group member David Bardsley will host the night.

Battery operated candles will be provided to concert-goers, as well as song books, allowing people to sing along with the carols.

Father Christmas will also be in attendance, providing lollies for younger concert-goers.

Auxiliary president Gail Hay said the hospital grounds offered a more intimate setting and allowed the hospital’s semi-permanent residents to enjoy the music.

“The fact that it will be a more intimate atmosphere, more friendly and the grounds have now been redone, so that the gardens are looking rather good,” she said.

“I think it will be lovely for the children, lovely for their parents, they can bring a rug and sit and have something to nibble on or a drink.

The concert is free and starts at 7pm on December 13.
