Shane Burge, Darren Partington and Tina Potts each capitalised on home green advantage to be among the leading performers in last weekend’s annual Esperance Golf Classic.

Burge (74-80-154) led the men’s gross field from Busselton’s Mike Foster (81-77-158), with Partington (70-69-139) the net winner from Regan Eastwell (67-74-141).

In a strong women’s field, Denmark’s Sharon Dawson (79-80-159) and Potts (72-70-142) were the gross and net leaders, respectively.

The four-day event attracted a field of 150 players from across WA.
