The girl who captured hearts across WA managed to fulfil her dream of skydiving just weeks before she passed away.

Milli Lucas — who inspired us with her bravery during her cancer battle — achieved her all-time dream of skydiving just before Christmas last year.

Skydive Perth took to Facebook to pay tribute that special day over the skies in Rockingham.

“It was an emotional day for both the Lucas family and our team, who were extremely touched by their story...a special thanks goes out to our amazing instructor Don who took Milli for her jump,” Skydive Perth said on their Facebook post.

Milli — who made it to her 14th birthday — passed away on January 4 after battling an aggressive brain tumour since 2016.

Premier Mark McGowan was among the first to offer his condolences to her loved ones.

“Milli was a wonderful girl...[she] won the hearts of every West Australian,” the Premier said.

Milli will be laid to rest next Thursday with a public service held at Optus Stadium.
