Driving for Albany-based team Halls Motorsport, Farrell enjoyed success at Perth Motorplex in the annual Sprintcar Muster before blitzing the field last Saturday night at Bunbury City Speedway to take his second win in six days.

In Perth, team owner and regular driver Brian Hall competed in the No. 3 machine, giving up his drive in the final to Farrell, who competed in the 410 Sprintcar ranks on the same night.

Because Farrell had not competed in the 360 events during the night, he was forced to start from the rear of the field in the final.

His class was clear for all to see as he weaved his way from position 24 to the lead before the race was declared with several laps remaining.

Farrell said he understood why Hall did not want to drive the car in the final because the brakes kept locking, but he was elated to win on such a tricky track.

On the same night Farrell was in ominous form in his 410 Sprintcar, qualifying fifth in time trials and finishing fourth in his opening heat.

However, he failed to finish his second heat and was forced to start from position 23 on the grid.

That didn’t stop the multiple WA champion from blasting his way to second place behind winner Ben Ellement.

Farrell won the 360 final in Bunbury driving a superb race in the Halls Motorsport No.4 car.
