A 2am trip to Bluff Knoll has paid off for an Albany photographer who captured this striking image of the peak and Milky Way.
Ryan Walker said he had wanted to shoot the Bluff, the highest peak in WA’s South West, at dawn for some time. “My cousin and I have been wanting to do a Bluff Knoll sunrise and the weather and work finally permitted,” he said.
“We got the Bluff at 3.30am on Saturday morning and the Milky Way was booming, so I had to see what I could (shoot) in the carpark before climbing up.”
