Man airlifted to hospital after crashing into tree

A man has been airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital after crashing his car into a tree in Kojonup.

The 30 year old sole occupant of the vehicle crashed into a tree on Albany Highway, near Balgarup Road, in Kojonup just after 11am this morning.

The man was airlifted to the Perth Royal Hospital by the Bunbury RAC Rescue Chopper.

Sgt. Greg Webb said the man was freed from the car, walking and talking but taken to hospital for his injuries.
