Juniors hit the court for opening round of Katanning Netball Association while senior have to wait
Players returned to the court for the opening round of the Katanning Netball Association, however, there were mixed emotions in the first week of the 2021 season.
The junior competition was able to start but the seniors were unfortunately postponed because of the COVID-19 lockdown that affected people who had been in Perth and the Peel region.
The junior season started with a bang as all teams were ready to go for their first game and the kids showed some great signs.
Ten teams in different age groups competed, with performances outstanding across all sides and bring brings an exciting feeling for the rest of the season.
The senior teams were ready to kit-up for the first time in more than 18 months after not playing last year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The KNA is hopeful that rounds will go ahead this weekend and the association is busy trying to keep everything flowing with the first round set to be made-up later on this season.
