The Lower Great Southern Water Ski tournament at Kalgan River in Albany attracted two Kojonup skiers at the weekend.

Kojonup’s Graham and Lisa Cavanagh battled it out with 22 other competitors across two days of competition.

Skiers from Perth, Bunbury, Albany and Kojonup took part in trick and slalom disciplines, which is part of the State series.

It is the longest continually running water skiing event in Australia after holding its 53rd edition this year, run by Albany Water Ski Club.

Graham finished third in the A-grade slalom event behind Perth’s Damon and Jake Duperouzel while Lisa also filled third place in the B-grade slalom competition.
