Cardinals celebrate grand final success

Cardinals Netball Club have ended the season with four teams in the grand final of this year’s Katanning Netball Association competition.

All Stars 1 celebrated a dominant win over Kojonup 1, 60–42, with best on court awarded to Leanne Eades. Olympians won their division 2 grand final, proving their top form after a nailbiting tie against Dumbleyung ended 46-all.

Olympians demonstrated their skills, taking out the final decider, 58-55, with Kirsty Flugge picking up best on court.

Flugge was again a stand-out this season, also taking out the title of best and fairest for division 2.

Cardinals Vixens were unable to continue their winning streak, falling short by 27 goals, 49-22, to Tambellup Djets.

Mikayla Zilm earned her place as division 1 best and fairest, with the division 3 title awarded to Kaylee Kingi.
