Geraldton man, 49, charged with child sexual and exploitation offences, common assault
A 49-year-old man from Spalding has been accused of a string of child sex offences.
Geraldton detectives charged the man with two counts of sexual penetration of a child under 13, one count each of indecent dealings with a child under 13 and possessing of child exploitation material as well as three counts of common assault.
Police will allege that in 2024 the accused man sexually assaulted a vulnerable girl known to him.
During a search of the man’s home, police allegedly located a child sex doll.
It is further alleged between June and October 2025, the man assaulted a teenage boy also known to him.
The accused man has been remanded in custody and is next due to appear in Geraldton Magistrates Court on January 29.
