A spokesperson for Western Power told PerthNow that they were able to restore power to most houses just before 2pm, with only 159 residents still without power at 2.12pm.

“We are unsure of the exact cause but we are investigating, there is many residents who were out of power but the number decreases quickly — we aim to have everyone’s power restored by 5.30pm,” the spokesperson said.
