Mirrabooka fire: Arson squad officers investigate out-of-control fire at Yew Court home

Arson police are investigating a house fire that took hold of a home in Perth’s northern suburbs late on Sunday night.

The Yew Court property in Mirrabooka was mostly engulfed by flames already by the time DFES crews arrived about 10pm.

No one was injured in the fire, and it is not yet known what caused it.

Specialist Arson Squad officers will examine the scene on Monday.

A witness reported there was a large amount of household waste outside the property at the time.

The home was not connected to gas or power.

Mirrabooka Detectives and Arson Squad officers have asked the public to help in determining circumstances surrounding the fire.

Anyone with information, or CCTV, dash-cam or mobile phone footage relating to the fire incident should contact Crime Stoppers. Reports can be made anonymously.
