Man rushed to Royal Perth Hospital after severely injuring his leg in motorbike crash in Nowergup

A man has been rushed to hospital with severe injuries from a motorcycle crash in Perth’s northern suburbs.
The rider, aged in his 30s, came off his motorbike near Old Yanchep Road in Nowergup around 7am on Sunday seriously injuring his leg.
St John WA paramedics transported the man to Royal Perth Hospital.
His injuries aren’t believed to be life threatening.
It’s the latest incident in what has been a shocking and deadly 24 hours on WA roads.
A 76-year-old woman died in hospital overnight Bunbury Regional Hospital overnight following a two-vehicle crash about 2pm Saturday.
Eight other people, including two children and a teenager, were also hospitalised with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash in Henty claimed the life of a woman in her 70s.
A 14-year-old boy died in a single-vehicle incident just before midnight on Friday.
Emergency services rushed to Invarell Road near the Waroona Dam boat ramp about 11.45pm on Friday after reports a Yamaha off-road motorcycle was involved in an incident. St John WA paramedics declared the boy dead at the scene.
