Police on hunt for man ‘inappropriately touching’ women at Lake Goollelal in Perth’s North

Police are on the hunt for a man accused of inappropriately touching several women at a popular walking track in Perth’s northern suburbs.
Joondalup detectives say at least four women have reported indecent assaults from a male riding on an e-bike around Lake Goollelal in Kingsley between February 28 and March 15.
The same offender is believed responsible for all four incidents.
He is described as aged in his teens or early twenties, with a medium build, and has been seen wearing a black hooded jumper, pulled over a bicycle helmet.
The first indecent assault occurred around 6.15am on Saturday, February 28, near Lakeway Drive and Meadow Lark Rise.

Detectives say the second assault occurred around 6.45am on Tuesday, March 3, near Hocking Road.
Another incident occurred at approximately 6.35am on Saturday, March 14, near the boardwalk area.
While the most recent assault occurred around 5.30pm on Sunday, March 15, on the northern side of the lake.
Concerned community members have taken to the local Facebook group ‘Kingsley, Woodvale, Greenwood and Surrounds’ warning others to be on alert.
“WARNING! I was just riding around Lake Goollelal when I was sexually assaulted by a young man/boy on a bike,” they said.
“This happened at 5:40pm 15/3/26 on Lakeway drive (still daylight!) the guy was wearing a hoodie and a bicycle helmet underneath, possibly a teenager- young adult, tan skin.
“He passed me on the footpath and then circled back shortly after.”
Joondalup detectives are seeking public assistance as they investigate the incidents and are encouraging anyone who has been a victim of a similar incident or has information relating to these events to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
