A pediatrician accused of sexually assaulting 10 children has faced court after being hit with new charges related to nine alleged victims.
Chia Liang Saw appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on Friday, facing 31 fresh charges, including sexually penetrating a child.
The 41-year-old was not required to enter a plea and was remanded in custody to reappear in the same court later in the month.
Saw's lawyer Alex Smith said he would apply for bail when he reappeared.
The doctor, whose medical registration has been suspended, was charged in late May with persistent sexual conduct with a child under 16 and possessing child exploitation material.
