SNAPSHOT OF VICTORIA'S CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK

NEW CASES

* 567 new locally acquired cases.

* One death, a woman in her 70s, bringing total deaths from the current outbreak to 12.

* Of the new cases, most remain in the north and western suburbs".

- 357 cases across our northern suburbs in locations like Craigieburn, Roxburgh Park and Broadmeadows.

- 137 cases in the west across Tarneit, Truganina and Altona North.

- 45 cases in the south-eastern suburbs in Dandenong, Rowville and Pakenham.

- 12 cases in our eastern suburbs in Doncaster and Ringwood North.

- Five cases in Ballarat, plus one more case authorities believe is connected to the city.

- Two cases in Moorabool.

- Three cases in the Mitchell Shire.

- One case in Mount Alexander.

- One case in South Gippsland.

- One case in the Macedon Ranges.

- Locations of two cases being finalised.

* 5675 active cases in the state.

* 85 per cent of all those cases are under the age of 50.

* 209 people in hospital, of which 59 are in intensive care including 40 on a ventilator.

* 50,915 COVID-19 test results received on Sunday.

VACCINATIONS

* 39,939 COVID-19 vaccine doses administered on Sunday at state-run hubs.

* A third vaccine brand, Moderna, will be available at Victorian pharmacies from this week.

* Of those in hospital, 86 per cent were not vaccinated, 12 per cent were partially vaccinated and three people were fully vaccinated.

EXPOSURE SITES

* More than 700 exposure sites listed on the state's website, including a child care centre as a tier one exposure site.
