Wild weather causes power outages
Severe weather has left thousands of homes without power this afternoon.
More than 2000 properties are without power across the region with strong winds damaging power lines.
Albany, Denmark, Walpole and large parts of inland Great Southern region have been affected.
The estimated restoration time is from 5.30pm or in many places, unknown.
Department of Fire and Emergency Services issued a weather warning for parts of the Great Southern, urging people to stay away from trees, powerlines, storm water drains and streams.
