Whale carcass found at Peaceful Bay

A whale carcass has been found at Peaceful Bay near Walpole with local authorities on the scene dealing with the matter.

A DPaW spokeswoman said a 3.9 metre juvenile humpback whale had been discovered on Sunday and a Shire of Denmark ranger was in charge.

The Department of Fisheries also issued a warning on the Sharksmart website that a carcass had been sighted.
