Wet week ahead for Albany

The rain is on the way for Albany and areas of the Great Southern with up to 45mm forecast for the week.

Showers will develop this evening and tonight and continue to bring up to 20mm of rainfall on Tuesday.

Gusty winds tending north to north-easterly are also forecast for tomorrow.

Up to 15mm of rainfall is forecast for Wednesday, and small showers will bring extra mm of rainfall though out the rest of the week.

The chance of a thunderstorm is possible for both tomorrow and Wednesday.

Thursday will reach a maximum of 13 degrees.

Areas further inland such as Jerramungup and Katanning are set to receive up to 30mm the week, and Narrogin and Lake Grace expected to see close to 20mm
