Two people left with ‘injuries consistent with stab wounds’ after altercation in Spencer Park

Detectives are trying to track down offenders who left two people with “injuries consistent with stab wounds” in Albany on Tuesday. Police say a physical altercation occurred between two groups about 8.45pm on Tuesday on Campbell Road in Spencer Park. A 41-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries and received treatment at Albany Health Campus. Their injuries were “consistent with stab wounds”, according to police. “The offenders left the scene in an early 2000s silver Commodore with black and white number plates,” police said. Albany police officers spoke to nearby residents at the scene on Tuesday night and later attended Albany Health Campus.
