Thunderstorms expected for Albany

Albany is in for some heavy rain over the next couple of days with between 30-40mm expected as thunderstorms hit most of the Great Southern region.

A thunderstorm is likely to hit this afternoon and evening with heavy falls and winds up to 45km/h.

There is a chance of a thunderstorm on Wednesday with possible rainfall of between 10-25mm.

There are strong wind warnings in place on the Albany Coast over the next two days.
