Three people treated by St John WA and one with burns after bedroom blaze in Bayonet Head home

Two men were taken to hospital and a woman was treated at the scene after a house fire broke out in a bedroom in Albany. The incident was first reported at 9.46pm on Monday, with the fire contained to a single bedroom and extinguished by the time two crews from Albany Fire and Rescue Service arrived at the Bayonet Head property. St John WA confirmed that a man in his 30s was taken to Albany Health Campus with burns. Another man in his 40s was also taken to the campus to be treated for smoke inhalation. A WA Country Health Service spokesperson said the men had since been discharged from hospital. A woman in her 30s was treated at the scene. A Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson said the cause of the fire was not known.
