Denmark and Collingwood Park will have an opportunity to advance directly into the Albany and Districts Cricket Association B-grade final when they face off in the qualifying final on Saturday.

The top two sides will square off at Turf South while third-placed Manypeaks face off against fourth-placed Royals in an elimination final at Turf East.

The Magpies go into the fixture with a head-to-head record of two wins and one loss against Park with wins coming in round one and round six.

Park were five-wicket winners in their most recent encounter in round 11 and have won four of their past five games to close out the season in terrific form.

Peaks will be buoyed by a five-wicket win in the final round over their semifinal opponent and reigning premiers the Lions as they look to avenge last season’s grand final result.

The winner of that clash will meet Narrikup, who finished atop the ladder, in the C-grade grand final on March 18.

Peaks’ notched wins over Park in round four but slumped to a 25-run loss in round nine and went down in their most recent encounter by 39 runs in round 14.

Park have recorded eight wins and three losses across their 12 games while Peaks finished with a record of six wins and five losses.
