Festival co-ordinator Nelson Blake said the festival was not about amazing high-budget work but about works in progress, unpolished works and trying something you had never done before.

“Definitely catch Kate’s whimsical wuthering bush, which is a big Kate Bush themed dance,” he said.

“There are also a whole bunch of small fringe theatre works which I think are going to be really good and I’m excited for the Shameless Hollywood Sundowner on Sunday which is the grand finale party for the artists, volunteers and the public.”

“Also, the Brave New You Bubble and Beats, which is a party night sponsored by brave new wines and is dedicated to how you have always wanted to be but haven’t been brave enough.”

The festival program will run from January 18 to 22nd with a full program of events and tickets available online at Denmark Arts website.
