Albany will host round eight of the Super Sedan Summer Series at Attwell Park Speedway on Saturday night.

The meeting will also feature round five of the West Coast Series for formula 500s along with junior sedans and formula 125s.

Star father-and-son duo Gary and Dustin Higgs will headline the nominations for the Albany round of the SSSS.

Dustin Higgs has been in scintillating form this season and will face strong opposition from his dad along with Rob Knox, Nathan Thiele and Ajay Hammer.

Kyle Larson will be another one to watch along with the returning Phil Barton, all the way from Broome.

A total of 12 super sedans have entered so far for the event, which will be followed by round eight at Mt Barker’s Les Gorman Park next Saturday.

A prize pool of $17,000 will start on Saturday in Albany and then continue next Saturday with the teams challenge in Mt Barker.

Gates open at 3pm and racing starts at 6pm.
