New images of the upcoming Albany waterfront Hilton Hotel have been released, revealing a foyer bar and lounge overlooking Princess Royal Harbour.

The images, provided by Hilton Hotels and Resorts, are believed to closely resemble the expected planned interior of the $24 million hotel, which once completed in October 2020 will be five storeys tall and host 108 rooms.

The images show a ground floor foyer with wooden floor and storage areas, lounges and tables, a revolving entrance door and bar overlooking the harbour.

When completed it will be Albany’s first hotel since the Esplanade Hotel’s demolition.

Landowner Paul Lionetti previously said he hoped to eventually expand the hotel to host 250 rooms and a function room large enough for up to 400 people.

It will be the first of the Hilton Garden Inn range in Australia, which can be found in countries including the US, UAE and Indonesia.
