Albany Speedway Club will launch its new season on Saturday night when action returns to the clay of Attwell Park, with the popular sidecars coming to town.

Sidecars will open a big 2019-20 calendar for the Albany venue, highlighted by the USA vs WA Sprintcars Speedweek Round and the USA Late Model Invasion Tour.

The WA Super Sedan Title will be held in Albany on April 11 and 12 while the Noel Pearson Memorial, Formula 125 State Title and Amazing Albany 5000 are other premier events.

Nominations are building for the season opener with six different divisions racing. Eight sidecars will contest the feature division while formula 125s, juniors, production sedans, limited sprintcars and street stocks part of the program.

Gates open at 3pm on Saturday and racing starts at 5.30pm.
