Search for missing man in Pingelly

Police are seeking the public’s help to locate a 75 year old man with asthma missing near Boyagin Rock in West Pingelly.

The man was last seen in the vicinity of Boyagin Rock in West Pingelly just after lunch yesterday.

The man is described as approximately 5 feet 2 inches in height, Caucasian, weighing approximately 65-70 kg with grey hair and a grey goatee beard.

He was last seen wearing a light blue shirt, dark blue trousers and black shoes.

The man suffers from asthma and is believed to be in the early stages of dementia, meaning he may seem to be confused. His family have asked that his details are not released at this point.

Police and SES volunteers re-commenced their search for the man at first light today and advise anyone in the vicinity who spots him should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
