Albany will have three teams competing in next weekend’s FFA Cup WA preliminary rounds after the draw for the regional and masters teams was held on Monday.

Albany clubs Rovers, Caledonians and Polonia will all take part in the opening round of the FFA Cup here in WA.

Rovers will compete for the third straight year after they and Albany-Bayswater played in the national knockout competition in 2018.

Last year Rovers were beaten by Yanchep United in the opening round while Albany-Bayswater lost to Gosnells City FC in the third round.

Rovers meet Caledonians next weekend while Polonia will host Busselton City FC with both matches to be played in Albany.

Regional and masters clubs will play on March 9-10 with amateur and metro clubs entering in round two on March 23-24.
