Great Southern coach Rosemary Wolter has been announced as one of five recipients of the 2021 Bette Allison Coach Scholarship that were announced by Netball WA on Tuesday.

Wolter is an experienced coach and has spent multiple seasons involved in the Albany Netball Association.

She is the coach of the Magpies team in the ANA A1 competition, the same team she has led to premierships in 2015 and 2018.

Netball WA, through the Bette Allison Coach Scholarship Program, provides opportunities for Netball WA affiliated coaches from grass roots to elite level to further their coaching aspirations.

A total of $5000 is made available by Netball WA to help coaches further their coaching aspirations through coach education, accreditation and personal development opportunities.

This will enhance the coaches’ ability to further their coaching knowledge and practices.

Along with Wolter, the other recipients were Alex Stevens (Curtin Hamersley Comets), Melanie Rainey (East Freo Sharks), Simone Eddington (Broome Netball Association) and Lauren Gordon (Eastern Hills Netball Association).
