The accolades keep coming for Albany’s brightest hockey talent Tallulah Gouldthorp, now named in the 2020 Australian under-18 indoor hockey squad for the second year in a row.

The rapidly rising striker will attend a three-day camp in October after being picked in the 25-player squad.

The venue for the camp is still being confirmed, after it was held in Wollongong last year. Gouldthorp was selected after impressing at the Australian Indoor Hockey Festival in Wollongong this month, when she helped WA win a bronze medal at the under-21 national championships and was also WA’s leading goal scorer in the under-18 national titles after netting eight of WA’s 11 goals.

The 16-year-old plays locally for North Albany and is one of the Lower Great Southern Hockey Association’s emerging stars.

Gouldthorp is no stranger to high honours, representing WA in State outdoor and indoor hockey teams on 10 different occasions over the last few years.
