Quality field for Ronnie J Memorial

More than 20 street stock drivers will converge on Mt Barker’s Les Gorman Park on Saturday afternoon for the annual Ronnie J Memorial Street Stock Feature, which has $4000 in prize money on offer.

A quality field of 22 drivers have nominated for the feature race, with $1000 up for grabs for the winner of the final, which is run in memory of former member Ronnie Jacobs.

Damien Amato, David Fall, Mark Dohnt, Peter Herbert, Paul Bowman, Aaron Sutton, Tristan Stroet, Daniel Sutton, Ben Ridley and Tim Coxall are among the bumper nominations for the event.

Herbert will be leading the local charge along with Bowman and Coxall, while youngster Lincoln Coleman has been impressive since stepping into the division.

Junior sedans, production sedans and super sedans will be the support divisions also racing on the program.

Gates open at 10am and racing is from 1pm at the daylight venue.
