Police probe campground car blaze

Albany detectives are investigating a car fire which engulfed a four-wheel-drive and damaged a caravan at Cosy Corner camp grounds overnight.

Fire crews were called to the camp grounds west of Albany just after midnight responding to a triple-zero call.

Albany Fire and Rescue and Young Siding volunteer bushfire brigade extinguished the fire in just under two hours causing an estimated $110,000.

Police forensic officers were at the scene this morning.

It is understood no one was injured in the blaze.
