A big field of super sedans will converge on Mt Barker’s Les Gorman Park on Saturday for the second round of the Super Sedan Summer Series.

Almost 20 drivers have nominated to contest round 2 of the annual series after the season opener was held last Saturday in Narrogin, where Mt Barker’s Chris Pavlovich was successful over Gary Higgs and Damon Trouchet.

Pavlovich hopes to repeat the dose at his home track but will again face stiff opposition from Higgs and Trouchet, along with Kevin Bell, Kemble Aylett and Lee Aylett.

A field of 18 drivers have nominated to race at the daylight venue, where the Ken Taylor Highest Points award will also be contested.

Junior sedans, production sedans and street stocks will be part of the support program, with Mt Barker Speedway Club drivers vying for the annual Ken Taylor award.

Gates open at 10am and racing starts at 1pm.
