Pair dazzle at Patrons Plate

Local tennis stars Abbi Gibson and Emma Russell took out the women’s A-division $1200 Patrons Plate at Lawley Park Tennis Club last Sunday.

The pair combined to produce a dazzling display of tennis throughout the day in what was considered one of the strongest fields seen in several years.

In the men’s A-division, Matt and Glenn Thompson were victorious after a solid day of play.

Vanessa Hillman and Sue White won the women’s B-division, while Greg Cook and Richard Piggott took out the men’s B-division.
