Nominations have opened for the 2020 Great Southern Business Awards and the process has been made easier for businesses with a new online nomination method.

Registered businesses and organisations can compete for 15 different awards across categories such as business person, home-based business, start-up and community service.

Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry chief executive Benita Cattalini said there were plenty of local businesses that deserved recognition, especially after such a tough year.

“The positive responses from businesses being nominated this year has been great,” she said.
