There were luckily no injuries after an unoccupied car rolled down into an empty house in Albany this afternoon, partially knocking in the front wall. Police were called to David Street in Spencer Park just after 4pm on Friday after an empty Toyota Hilux rolled down a slight embankment into the front room of a brick house. Police believe the vehicle’s hand brake came off or failed. Two crews from Albany Fire and Rescue attended the incident but were not required to remove anyone from the unmanned vehicle. St John WA did not attend, but SES were called upon to check the structural integrity of the building.
