Mt Barker to host ‘Breathing life into Boodja’ movie night

A locally produced film celebrating the efforts of environmental groups in the Porongurup and the Stirling ranges will screen at an outdoor cinema event in Mt Barker on February 25.

Breathing Life into Boodja celebrates the conservation efforts the Noongar community, farmers, scientists and other groups in the region.

The work was part of the Gondwana Link project to restore 1000km of ecological connections from Margaret River to the Great Western Woodlands.

The event will be hosted by the Oyster Harbour Catchment Group at Banksia Farm.

Light refreshments will be served from 5.30pm with the film screening at 6.15pm.

Entry costs $5.
