Mega marron make for dream day on the water

A monster marron about 40cm long has been caught near Albany.

Trailblazers Albany staff caught the monster last week at an undisclosed location.

The short and highly regulated season is open until February 5. A licence is required to fish for marron with a minimum head legal size of 90mm in trophy waters and 80mm in all other open waters, with varied bag size limits.
