Albany Advertiser

One of Albany’s busiest tourist routes will be closed for eight weeks.

Marine Drive from the lookout to Flinders Parade will be closed from October 3.

The road closure is part of the State Government project by Landcorp to upgrade the Middleton Beach Activity Centre.

Tricoast Civil will be carrying out significant roadworks alongside Adelaide Terrace between Finders Parade to the lookout.

The closure is required for works to be completed before the summer holiday period.

Detours will be clearly marked and Middleton Beach will remain accessible via Middleton Road and Golf Links Road.

The Albany Heritage Park and National Anzac Centre will remain accessible.
