Man to face court on indecent assault charge after allegedly ‘squeezing’ buttocks of woman in retail store

A 19-year-old Albany man has been charged with indecently assaulting a woman at a store on Middleton Road last month.

Police had asked the public for information last week about the alleged indecent assault.

They said that on Friday, October 29, an employee at a retail store on Middleton Road had her buttocks squeezed by a male customer.

As a result of public assistance, a man was charged in relation to the incident last week.

He is due to appear in Albany Magistrates Court on December 2.
