Jayden Turner undefeated after fives junior races at Albany City Kart Club’s October club meeting
Junior competitor Jayden Turner stole the show at the Albany City Kart Club’s October club meeting on Sunday.
Turner had an undefeated day in his four races, while in the cadet 9 class Grady Crofts won four races, as did tag 125 restricted medium driver Greg Pearson.
A total of 27 drivers hit the ACKC track across five divisions.
Turner finished on 1445 points after winning all five junior races and Riley Munro finished in second position after coming runner-up to Turner in four races and placing third in his other event.
Seth Collins rounded out the podium on 1137 points after finishing third in four of the races and Mia Collins was in fourth on 970 points.
Grady Crofts had a great battle all afternoon with brother Hamish in the cadet 9 division but Grady prevailed to top the overall points with 1409 ahead of Hamish (1301 points) and Blake Pianto (1051).
Grady won four races and finished second to Hamish in heat three.
Four wins and a third helped Pearson beat his three rivals in the tag 125 restricted medium class with 1377 points.
Scott Else finished second on 1233 points and Peter Diprose rounded out the podium on 997 points.
William Panizza and Cody Colmer could no be separated at the end of the day in cadet 12.
Both drivers won two races each along with two thirds and a second to finish on 1273 points.
Mitchell Turner was close on 1217 points.
Luke Porter, despite not winning a race, took the senior Yamaha honours on 1142 points from Else (1098) and Ramon Panizza (1084).
